We are aware of this problem, and we also have a solution. Very soon, brainstorm should have it's own independent interface. It's almost ready for release and we are doing some final adjustments to it, polishing some rough edges. The existing brainstorm structure will not exist.

1. It will be still accessible as a sub-forum?
2. It will use PHPBB-Technologies, MyBB-Technologies, or it'll be nearly independent of board-specific features? |

Probably not. Considering that it should offer every relevant feature the forum system has, the subforum shouldn't really be needed.
It 100% integrates with phpBB, and hence, it will not need any additional login credentials. |
