Great work! Thanks for that! But apart from that, i _think_ the interface is well translated (i am using the english version, just checked most of german). If you ever stumble upon an issue, you can report it again.

Thanks, german buttons will be implemented soon!

I saw some translations are not very good german eg. "Nach oben/unten bewerten" (vote up/down) I think easily "gute/schlechte Idee!" (in english "good/bad idea") were a better translation

Apart from that I think that some translations (e.g. "Fügen Sie ihren Kommentar hinzu" (add your comments)) sound strong like advertisement( if you want to use this translartion a "...und gewinnen sie einen Besuch bei disney-land " (...and win a trip to disney-land) is needed:p ) So why not say simply "Kommentar hinzufügen" (add a comment)?

I'd like to help you with the translation (that I can do at least one thing for KDE) so I'd agree to translate these things in my way;)

Thanks. I really haven't expected that it would be fixed so fast.

But what shall I translate now?^^

PS: You have written "Gute Idee!" (with exclamation mark) and "Schlecht Idee" (without exclamation mark)

Oh sorry, didn't think you wanted to do it yourself... ;D

Well, if you want to take a look at the file yourself, the translations are not yet in our git repo. I will ping you as soon as they are there, so you can check out the original file.

@neverendingo: If I notice buttons, which aren't translated I'll look if I can translate them. If I finished, I will PM you and send you a link with the buttons, ok?

The FAQs language file can be found here:

We aren't using a language file for the Policy pages yet. If you wish to translate it, I can provide you with the HTML file (but I guess it wouldn't be very convenient to work with). We can move it's contents to a language file if necessary.

The strings which are in the FAQ-Translation-File are translated already, but there's a text at the top (it was added by the Forum admins (you ;) ) I think) which isn't translated.
Code: Select all
Welcome to the KDE Community Forum - frequently asked questions. This section provides a general overview of the forum. [...]

I didn't find it in the file.
What's about the Brainstorm Help. It isn't translated, too.
