Also, the category selection bar now has two lines. It'd be great if we could add a slightly shorter translation of the categories, esp the ones with more than one words. Is that possible? Although, it's fine this way too

BTW, I'd like to translate buttons of current phpBB theme. Is there any editable files or should I post the translations here?

Yes, if you like you can. There are a bunch of xcf template files in our svn repo, see http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/www/sites/forum/templates/
Open them in gimp and all you need to do would be to edit the text layers. For everything else (shadows or box size), i can do that.
