"view the latest post" not always working

for example I clicked on the latest post icon on a thread which brought me to "brainstorm.php#p87995" which displays a "The page you are looking for does not exist" page.
There appears to be a lag between a post and it actually being available as a direct link even though a link is being provided? Noted later that when it worked the link was "http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=65736&p=87999#p87999" thanks,

no, it just happened in "view new" brainstorm.php#p88012 which is the "latest" from this thread viewtopic.php?f=83&t=62492
