KHTML renders Forum badly

Sat Oct 17, 2009 10:36 am
This is bad. I've recently changed from Firefox to Konqueror.
And KHTML doesn't render this forum correctly, while WebKit does.

This is bad especially because it's KHTML that badly renders this forum...

If you look closely you'll see that KHTML adds another column on the right edge of the screen.
Open forum site in Konqueror and look at the horizontal scrollbar it's there, but it shouldn't be...

Not on my screen; what I am looking at with Konqueror 4.2.4 (release 2) is just like your lower screenshot.

@Alec
That is probably because you are using a larger font than the standard one.
I've made slight changes to the width, which will be visible after the next rollout.

It's probably a KHTML bug (I see it also elsewhere). Please file a bug on bugs.kde.org.

To be fair, the front page of the forum has 53 Errors and this thread has 99... :/

Please file a bug report at bugs.kde.org regarding the W3C Markup Validator outputs.

We have fixed the validation errors in our code repository. They should be available live once we finish with the testing and do a rollout.
