Jabber notification not working??

I want a notification via Jabber when someone posts a message in a thread I subscribed. However it isn't working ...
I send myself a PM. Voila, Jabber notification worked. Tried it with several threads but not a single notification there. Does Jabber only work if I'm online with my Jabber account?? No offline messages?

Just tested this and it worked fine for me.
Which provider are you using for Jabber?

I switched the profile to my account on jabber.ccc.de Can somebody respond to this thread, to test the new account.

Acknowledging the test. Note that forum@kdetalk.net may need to be in your address book / contacts list to recieve the messages with some providers.
