It is great to have the browser and os information attached when threads are started and commented by the forum members. (it would be depending on the browser user string)

Suppose you cannot log-in in your machine (something is broken in your kde and you only obtain a black screen). Then you desperately run to another machine to come here and ask for help... maybe the win-doze machine in your work, maybe your friend's mac...

The best place to attach that information you are asking for is where you can already find it now (if the user compiled it, I mean): below the avatar.
