One thing which would be nice is the ability to tint the plasma theme, similar to how you can change the color scheme for the widget style.
Possibly this could be done on a per-plasma widget basis (set in another tab in the widget\'s config dialog), but let\'s just start with allowing you to set a tint color and amount for the whole theme. This way the theme will give the general appearance of the widgets, but then different users can customize the colors to fit their particular preference if they so desire.

I am pretty sure the plasma developers have already said they will not do this.

airdrik: You can use the color schemes from other themes, on top of another theme, under plasma theme details, under the advanced tab in system settings.
Maybe it won't be a bad idea to upload some themes to be a color scheme overlay though. EDIT: if you look at the new Oxywin theme on KDE look it actualy changes its color according to your system theme. |
