I use customized button like this, sometime need use maximize button functionality like
middle button click on max or right button click on max button, but i not place max button on the bar,
do you plan to add addition customized functionlity to minimize button, like
"middle button click on minimize button expand window horizontally", "right click on minimize button expand window vertically", to maximize window can use "move to top" or double click on window titlebar.

Minimize button to expand? There is something horribly wrong with this.

OK, i choose bad word, change minimize to universal button with same functionality
when i click left button -> minimize window ... when click middle button - > expand horiz...

could you edit your idea so it would be more clear what you want?

as far as i understand... you want to remove the maximize button because it is not necessary due to other options to maximize windows - i agree!

but we would lose functionality like "right click on maximize button to expand h" so you suggest to add a new universal button that does all the tricks (included minimize to taskbar)
