[Plasma] Option to make plasmoid live on just desktop or just dashboard

It would be nice if there were an option to make any plasmoid visible only on the desktop, or only on the dashboard, even if it lives on both by default.

It would be nice to have an extra set of data widgets, e.g. CPU and temperature monitors on the dashboard, but not always cluttering up the desktop.

I believe this is already possible if you detach the dashboard from the desktop.

I believe there is a tutorial in Tutorials & Tips or the Plasma FAQ which covers this.
