Plasma devs have implemented showing the thumbnails of grouped taskbar icons in trunk. It shows the name of the group and thumbnails of all of the windows in the group. This is a great and much-needed feature. However, I think it would be even better if we could select the window we want from the group by clicking on its thumbnail. It would be a lot easier (one click instead of two) and would be particularly useful for multiple windows with the same name.
