Some other ways to open directories in new tabs with the help of the middle mouse button should be added .

With the example of the following picture, you have the path:
Home > Documents > Pictures > Wallpapers

Image

A middle click on "Pictures" should open a new tab with the content of the Picture directory. At the present time the middle mouse click has no effect.

If you click on ">" you have a list of directories. Similarly, a middle click on one of the element of this list should open the corresponding directory in a new tab.

The menu display with the right mouse button should be change too: a new entry in the menu should be added to open the directory in a new tab.

I think your idea or part of it is a duplicate of [Dolphin] Middle-Click on Breadcrumb to Open as Tab.

Arg! I didn't see it when I did a research on the forum.
But I think you're right.
