at the moment kmail uses knotify to show how many unread message in the inbox are.
I think it would be much better if it would also display from whom these unread emails are and maybe some of the email's content (at least if there's just one new message)

It should exist an optnion to enable more detailed notifications...
Something that would be also cool is, if there would be a "Read E-Mail" button in the Notification, that directly opens up the email...

Ah I didn't think about this "possibility"
Of course your way would be the better one, since space is always "precious"
