Basic USB Drive Needs

I have had several people ask me how to do this in kubuntu 9.04.

1. Rename
2. Format

a portable usb drive/flash stick/flash card.

Can we make it so you can just right click on the drive to format or rename. and then ask for sudo privileges if needed?
