Hello everyone,
I use a lot custom icons on "folders" (directories) to help me visually when working on different things or projects. I think it's a very fast way to recognize folders.

Since the usually avalilable custom icons (red, green, gray, ...) were not enough to me, using gimp I created a custom icon overlaying my company logo on the default folder icon, and I created another custom icon using my astronmy club logo on the folder icon.

It would be really nice if there were an easy way to overlay any user-chosen image to the standard folder icon of a directory, don't you think?

I'm thinking something similar to what you can do in Gome with nautilus (they call them "symbols", but I'm not sure).

regards
