In my opinion is a bug, but I don't found forum to inform about searched bug.

When I tries to copy symbolic link into external drive(removable media), only dialog telling this operation is not supported appears. I can skip this link or cancel next operations.

It would be nice to this dialog offer other option... called 'copy file data'. In this mode KDE don't copy symbolic link, but open a file and copy content(copy file linked to symbolic link instead a symbolic link).
