First, let me tell you all how much of a fan I am with KDE. If only software compatibility wasn't such an issue, I'd be an even bigger fan.
OK, lets start with what I'd like to be able to do with KDE: Have sensors attached to my brain that tell KDE what I want it to do. Be able to port all and I mean ALL of my favourite software to KDE. This includes Microsoft Office 2010, Hitfilm Ultimate, Rollercoaster Tycoon etc. Have KDE be more Windows effiecent. Have KDE mimic Windows 7 a lot more. Ability for KDE to boost my internet connection speed. And most of all, I'd like it to be possible to port KDE to my cable TV subscription box, so that I am not restricted in any way whatsoever by my cable TV provider. Hope that all of the above mentioned will be feasible and if not, I'd be interested to know why. |

The brainstorm idea is for single, fleshed out improvements to KDE rather than very broad statements. Also, one idea per thread.
Have sensors attached to your brain - can you link to some technologies to provide this input data in a format that KDE can work with? Port all your favourite software. MS Office is KOffice. I don't know what the others are. KDE be more Windows efficient - what do you mean? KDE mimic Windows 7 a lot more - Windows 7 is doing that by themselves. KDE boost your internet connection speed - internet speed is a separate issue. Please be more specific - such as "implement third-party compression in Konqueror alike Opera's page compressor"
