Record desktop video in a usable format

steampoweredlawngnome Registered Member Posts 11 Karma 0 OS	Record desktop video in a usable format Thu Mar 26, 2009 7:18 am I really like that KDE includes desktop recording, but it's obnoxious to say the least that the resulting videos are in cps (capseo?) format, something not even mplayer can play back without conversion. It would be nice to see recordings saved to an immediately usable format, like Theora or Xvid or something. steampoweredlawngnome, proud to be a member of KDE forums since 2008-Dec.
