Plasmoids are re-implementing windows. Why re-implement them? Why not use just regular old windows?
For example, regular windows have nice features like snap-to-feature, reshape controls from all four edges, and so forth. Plasmoids lack snap-to and sure could use it. They also lack reshape controls from all four edges. Sure could use it. They have a separate theme mechanism -- but there's no real reason to have a separate one when there's theme-ing for windows. The themeing should at least be unified.

Idea marked as invalid. Plasmoids are not reimplementing windows, and are far more controllable on the Plasma canvas ( especially when 3D effects are unavailable )
