On big panels system tray looks like this:
http://img182.imageshack.us/img182/3245/systraybig.png When panel is small, system tray takes this appearance (remove top and bottom borders): http://img36.imageshack.us/img36/4340/traysmall.png I don\'t much like this appearance on small panels, i would prefer to have it the default way. Maybe it\'s and option we could add. By the way, when i log in to kde and system tray is still empty, it has the default appearance (showing al borders), but as soon as kmix, network manager, and rest icons are loaded, it removes top and bottom borders and assumes what would be the normal appearance for small panels. Is it the size od the icons that make the system tray resize or the the other appearance? Anyways, i\'ve been loking around to see if i can somehow make the system tray take that appearance, but i haven\'t found anything, maybe we could add an option for next release? Thanks Edit: Just realised, that when system tray is on desktop (not panel) and is resized this appearance transmormation does not occur. But i still don\'t know how to apply this to panel. |

I would say this is a bug report, not a feature request. Please post in bugs.kde.org

I think it\'s a feature request, because system tray is supposed to assume that appearance when panel is small, i just would like to keep the original appearance, i don\'t believe this is too hard to achieve, maybe we could set an option for which of both appearance we wouild like to use desapite the panel size.
