Hi!
Nobody cares about the Kopete-IRC-plugin. But maybe it would be possible to integrate Quassel into Kopete. Well, there would be a lot of interface-modifications necessary and we would also need some new code for integration into contact-list. But it would be a full featured Kopete-plugin. The User |

Erm, do you mean the client interface of quassel or the whole concept with a remote daemon?
Because there's nothing special about quassel when you remove the remote daemon part... in fact it's significantly less featureful than other IRC clients, it's just the persistent session that's awesome. |

I'd rather suggest that Kopete and Konversation should be even more tightly integrated into KDE ...which seems to be the plan as well.
It's time to prod some serious buttock!

Kopete with integrated quassel will still be Kopete unless you break the whole interface and put the clunky IRC interface in there. I like IM seperate from IRC.
I am also voting for Konversation because it was well integrated with KDE 3, and I believe the new version will eventually be well integrated with KDE 4, which is what we really want. |

@Madman
I see: It does not work and Kopete crashes, that's not very good... |

Just because it's not finished, doesn't mean nobody cares.
