I think that this two animations can be implemented in KDE, they are very beautifull: resize the windows automatically with a effect and show dialog boxes form the top of the window.
In Mac OS X: 1.) When you are seetting the preferences of a program (for example) and the windows have a different size, the windows are automatically resize to the best size for the window (to bigger or to smaller) and with a nice effect. 2.) Dialog boxes emerging from beneath the title bar of the windows with a sliding effect. I hope you have liked this proposal. Thank you. |

This is two different ideas, they should be posted separately. That being said, the first idea has already been reject by KDE developers for bad usability, so it would be better if you just got rid of the first idea and limited it to the second. If you post the first idea it will just be marked as "wontfix". The second idea will be approved, though. I do suggest, however, that you explain what would happen in the case of multiple dialog boxes appearing in the same window.

It has been over two weeks without any reply, so I am moving this idea to "invalid". If the poster reads this, please re-submit the second part of the idea.
