I know that there is a gigantic area in which the user can left click to go back when navigating through folders in the launcher but I feel most of us would prefer if a simple right click allowed us to navigate one step back to the main folder. Plus the only purpose the right click serves is Add to Favorites which could be changed by adding a tiny heart icon to the right of each entry's name since that area is free.
As for the other functions like Sort A-Z and vice versa can be a small button next to the word Favourites in the Top Right corner and it could change from A-Z to Z-A for reverse sort.
Similarly on the Recently Used tab, Clear Recent Apps and Clear Recent Docs could be made into 2 icons and placed on either side of the tab header(thing at bottom with icon and text RECENTLY USED).
