My idea is to add some "radius" to screen edges in witfch assigned effect would work.
Why add radius? Well basicly becouse if I have option Switch desktop on edge set to Always its very hard to hit that exact point where the edge is and If i miss the edge - desktop changes. Having to hit that exact spot disturbs workflow. |

i think this would trigger the effect way to often.. (unwanted) ... if there was this suggested radius you must not have anything near this area.. no windowborderbuttons.. no devicemanager.. no kbutton.. no taskmanager.. frankly, i think this would not be a good idea..
where is the problem with navigate the mouse into a corner? nothing easier than that! justmy2cents

Indeed, the point in using the corners in the first place is that they're the easiest place to hit with your mouse without precise aiming - just throw your mouse over there somewhere, rather vaguely, and it'll hit the spot.
I don't see the problem this is trying to solve.

have You ever tried to hit corner with Switch desktop on edge set to Always and 0ms delay? I have and its not that easy as You paint it (try it with 2x2 virtual desktop setting ). Especialy if im not looking at the corner.
Btw im thinking about max 5-10px "radius" each side so i dont think it will couse any problems. But its not my call ;] I just wrote what i thought would be nice thing to have. |

Just fling your mouse at the corner. It is impossible not to hit a corner if you move your mouse even the slightest bit diagonally for a sufficient distance.

It is possibe. if i dont looka where i move my mouse and try to activate corner effect fast. With my setup if i miss even slightly instead of corner effect im at the new desktop. ;]

Personally, I am happy that touching the corner doesn't invoke the action immediately, ie. it has a few ms of delay. This would increase the probability of hitting the corner greatly. So I'd rather like it to be the way it is. Just my opinion.

This is a totally awesome Idea! (should be configurable though)
Why? because it would make screen-corner-events usable on touchscreens. YEY! |
