The possibility to hide unused elements of window could be great. Of course - not all applications would use this. For example dialogs with top menu/toolbar shouldn't.

The opportunity to do that is to save some space and remove some rubbish, when I(for example) just read a document, instead edit it.

Editor elements should been hidden, when i don't press any key or move mouse. I can scroll window, click right/left mouse button, etc.

Editor elements means top menu and panels. Of course - some application can show only top(main) menu, when edit mode is disabled. The menu should also show message like: 'Press alt button to display other window elements'. This should be application developer choice(but some KDE applications should use this).

Without 'editor mode':
---------------------------------------------------------------------
|File| |Tools| |View| Press alt or click me to display other elements
---------------------------------------------------------------------

With 'editor mode' turret on:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
|File| |Edit| |Tools| |View| |Help| |History|
---------------------------------------------------------------------
|Nice save button| |Nice save-as button| |Open Button|
---------------------------------------------------------------------

As I says, it will be application dependent. Application can hide main menu too(with this message).
