Hello !

This is a quite simple idea and it may be mentionned elsewhere but I can't found it, so I propose it here.

The idea is to add to Kwin the ability to automatically resize a windows when it hits the screen border during a displacement.

As some user would certainly keep "normal" window behaviour, I think this should be a per-window option.

Use cases are numerous. Here is one of them illustrating the usage of this new option in combination with okular "fit width" option to lead to "smart desktop" behaviour :

1/ Bernard is typewriting a tex document using at the same time Kile to edit the source and Okular to view the resulting PDF file.
2/ Bernard uses the "fit width" option in okular display menu.
3/ Bernard wants to reorganize its windows on his desktop, so he moves the okular window to right.
4/ When the window border hits the screen limit, its width is automatically downsized to keep the entire window into screen. Furthermore as Bernard uses the "fit width" option, the content of the window is automatically adapted to its new size.

I hope this may help to improve the great desktop KDE is.

Best regards...

Isn't this feature coming up in 4.4 already?

Other than that, I don't see why people give it such bad votes. Are there any good reasons for that?
