Idea is hard to understand and realize, but will solves many thinks.
I wish to had some program, to handle abstract archives. This archives will be file type do shares file across many operating system. What is special in my idea? The archives contains file list, where each item is attached to mime type. It also contains list of procedures to generate other files(some think like diff). When we open this archive, the program will check mime type, that can be handled by our system. It is also possible to open html page as plain text and all tags will not been displayed. When we change source file(generated by our program), it will comparing all changes, what we do on generated files. Simple example: welcome.txt : text, page.html: diff of welcome.txt as type text; welcome.txt: Welcome page.html: % <html> % <body> %+include welcome.txt % </body> % </html> Instead of include, we can also put line, part. After user changed document as text(welcome.txt), we can do difference on older and never version and patch all file in archive. I think, it hard/impossible to realize, but it could be great if I had some think like that.
