I was thinking about making icons same color as my t-shirt. Now I have to take a pic, browse for that, probe color using editor, then apply fffff's. What if there would be in every place, where You choose color for an element of interface a button "grab color from device" or "use real life color"? Window would open with "browse for a file" function and "grab image from device". Next step would be in the same window launch of an color probe on selected/grabbed image. Then apply(as) or cancel. Nice

I don't think it would work that well, because pictures are affected brightness and the lighting in the room, the colour would never come out right.

Maybe using a scanner instead?
