It's just an idea when click software updates instead of OS so let us have an application update. Lets say amarok 2.2 and 2.3 is released...the software management can detect and prompt for a new version update. It brings a more new interface and new feature to enjoy.

Sorry I don't quite understand you...
Do you want that instead of distro-based software managment through package managers like apt(itude), yum, pacman etc... there should be an option integrated in every application, amarok in your case, that would update it automaticly? If you do mean distro-based than it's an idea for you distro of choice and not KDE.
