I would love to see possibility to move messages to archive, report spam, have synced starred items and use priority inbox directly from Kmail (just like web client does).

It would be also great to have contacts/calendar synced but I've read it is already taken care of.

Any idea how this could be done or any mail clients that already do this?
If this would ever to be given to devs they have to know a bit more than just it'd be nice if this would work...

Deleting items in kmail (or any other imap client) archives them in gmail, so nothing needs to be done there.

There should be a "starred" imap folder as well, which could be synced with starred kmail items automatically behind the scenes.

It is already possible to use the gmail imap spam folder for spam in kmail, but this isn't done by default. maybe it should be. I don't know if gmail uses items you add to this folder when setting up spam rules, but it should. This needs to be handled on google's end, though.

Priority inbox I haven't used, but that once again should be handled as an imap folder on google's end.

So I would say this is two seperate ideas:

1. Use the gmail spam folder for spam when using a gmail account.

2. Automatically put starred kmail items in the gmail starred folder when using a gmail account.

These are different enough that they should probably be submitted independently.

The rest are either already implemented or need to be implemented on google's end.
