I really like that my system show some kind of info, like cpu usage, new mails, elapsed time of a song, you know. And usually i use the taskbar but...

Problem: in the taskbar you have the trayicon, maybe with a lot of things, amarok, basket, power, sound, dropbox. but you also add some plasmoids like show-desktop, Quickaccess and kickoff, cpu usage. Dont forget the apps that you are running.

Solutions: But what about kwin?, you have some space free that you can use to show info.
