I think shortcut for shutdown and close window(KWin) must be same.
If no window is open ,shortcut must open shutdown confirmation dialog if all opened window are inactive ,shortcut must show hibernate confirmation dialog else must close opened active window.

So, in other words if you hit alt+F4 (normally close window) when there is no active window then it brings up the dialog to hibernate/suspend if there are open applications or logout/shutdown(/reboot) if there aren't?

i am not sure about other users but i rarely used logout compared to shutdown .So i dont think logout must be there with shutdown.Even if you want it there i recommend it below shutdown or make shutdown the default.

Some (many) users are in a multi-user environment and do want the option to log out rather than shut down (you don't necessarily want one user shutting down - closing another user's session with open documents, etc). If you are running a single-user environment (which is probably typical for a personal computer such as a laptop, netbook or home computer) then I can see excluding the log out option.

ok,may be i should post a new idea for exclude logout option or select default option in kde daemon poweroff dialog.
But what about common shortcut for close window and logout/shutdown or hibernate/suspend |

* new idea to set up exit (e.g. enable logout) settings - feel free to post the new idea.
* the common shortcut - imo, this is still a valid idea (pending admins marking the idea as valid).
