Hello all. I am looking for a way to control a switch with bluetooth using kubuntu/ubuntu. The idea is what when the proper input is given to the laptop, a separate piece of hardware will receive a bluetooth signal and trigger a switch which will open a small door.
But it all boils down to button a is pressed on laptop, door a opens on shelf. It has been asked of me that this be done with Linux and I would like to get some input from more experienced programers and users as to how to go about this. I would really like to have this running on kubuntu 10 and I am resricting myself to this OS for my project. Any advice or ideas? Thanks. |
