Open source desperately need email service providers that will not sellout our private data to any type of institution. I personally won't mind paying for it at all. Advances in cloud based technology has reduced the storage cost. We need our own twitter systems. We need this technologies to free ourselves from the Google's etc etc.

Not sure about email, however, I don't believe this is the right place to ask for that since it's hardly related to KDE.
