Hi all!
I have got a HUGE music library on my PC and like to see the lyrics of my songs displayed by amarok (helps me improve my English & German, for example....) and the point of this idea is: to stop this nonsense loss of time and internet speed to fetch already fetched lyrics one week ago. Because yes, some of the lyrics I fetched last week just disappeared! I don't understand why. And even worse: why does Amarok have to fetch them for each new install. When I switch from system 1 to system 2 on the exact same computerI mean, why is there no *.lyrics file as there is a *.mood one? I don't get it. It would have lots of avantages: Cross platform use (Clementine, JuK, AmaroK, Banshee....) Easier to edit lyrics Have to fetch/write them once only and that's it. So, let's spare some internet useless downloads! See ya!

It would be better if you posted this in the Amarok forum. I believe the issue is licensing, which only allows Amarok to show "cached" lyrics. As far as I know it's the same for cover art.
