Suggestions to rekonq web browser

Fri Mar 02, 2012 10:29 pm
- More integration with system: Show "Closed Tabs", "Favorites," "History", "Downloads", "Tabs" and "Search suggestions" in "Krunner". Transforming Krunner the addressbar/toolbar rekonq;
- Progressbar and/or charging indicator (throbber) in taskbar icon (in other words, integration with "Task manager with icons" widget);
- The first start with an interface configuration window including: "Edit menus", "Edit toolbar", "Edit new page tabs" (with option to keep or remove), etc. And in case of closing this window, possibility to reopen it on "Settings > Initial setup window" menu. This should cause anyone to turn rekonq what you want by removing or keeping functions in accordance with their needs.
- Especially about editing menus: Would be nice to be add the functions of some buttons in the menus;
- Button, shortcut and option menus (context and main) to "copy page address" (because I don't use the addressbar in rekonq);
- Possibility to "faviconize" or decrease the size of the grouped window tab in tittlebar (maybe this should be a "Kwin" option, but... anyway... );
- Possibility to use only windows;
- Possibility to remove tabbar and addressbar "permanently";
- Fix errors that cause the program constantly restart;
- Possibility to opt delete or not "Active logins" and "Site preferences" when "Clear Private Data."

What do you think? I traveled a lot or this issues are relevant and possible?

It's good to see many ideas but please split them up into one brainstorm thread per idea. Don't worry if it seems like a lot of ideas. Only then will they be approved. I will lock this one as invalid.
