Hello,

It would be cool if kwin has support for window management plugins.
For example, implement plugin for wmii-like management, tagging windows and use tag-workspaces, tiling etc..

There are requests for all such features:

• PWM-Like tabbing support for windows
  
• Window tiling (Ion-like window layout and control)

mgraesslin: If this idea is already "Submitted" you can mark it using the Moderation options drop down. I am unsure if this idea matches those wishlist items however.

Adding plugins to KWin isn't worth the effort, KWin was wasn't built that in mind. Would be easier just to write the features straight into the core.
