I often write in different languages, mostly English and Italian, but also a little in French, and I find myself change very frequently the default language in the spell checker.
I'd like an easier way to switch language, for example a sub-menu somewhere in the main menu or in the right-click menu, like firefox does.

yep another +1 from me for this option, it really sucks if you have to write in several different languages (3 for me) and can't easily switch the language.

I also agree. I just can't find an English spellcahecker in Sonnet for konqueror, and I gre acustumed to Firefox spellchecker.
I only have Turkish, Hebrew and Slovenian. And I don't really need Turkish nor Hebrew and Slovenian is empty. What I really want is an settings frontend for Sonnet with GHNS (get hot new stuff) abiltiy, so you can easily install the dictionary that you need.

Actually wasn't it once planned to get a language-guesser into sonnet? So no or only seldom a manual change would be required. See also:

Language-guesser??? Wow, great!!! Together with an easy language switch, it would be really great!!!

+1 from me also. Of course would a automatic detection of the language be much better. Mguesser does this rather well, so it's not science fiction.
