If you plug in a device like an external hdd, the device notifier alerts you and says "new device". If you click on the device a dialog will pop up and asks you what you want to do.
I wonder why I have to double click on the action I want to start or why I have to select the action and have to click the ok-button. Wouldn't it be more consitent, if the user could start the action just with one klick? I mean in KDE you can start everythink with just one click. Its just a little thing but necessary for the howl KDE experience. What do you think? |

Why wasn't it done like this in the first place?
I also would like a tick box to remember the option. It is very annoying having to click through because DigiKam thinks that every removable storage contains photos I want to import (whether or not there are any graphics at all). I can't find a way that disables the DigiKam option for everything but SD cards |

I'm pretty sure that a bug/wish related to this was filed (about 3 months ago?) but I can't find it. Basically, the gist of the bug report is that it should be possible to edit the open-list, so that we don't get digikam as default, and to accept clicking on the selection to be sufficient, instead of having to OK it. (Could be that I'm remembering details from a mailing list thread, but I'm positive it resulted in a bug report.)
