When i right click the desktop (also press ALT+F2) - "Run command" dialog appears:

My idea is to show recently entered commands, when no search text is entered:

This allows with just one click repeat one of the last commands.

I would prefer(sorry for my English) QuickLaunch plasmoid with shortcut to it.

Maybe use the same as Mac:
remember the previous text entered, so it will appear with that text, and show the same items than last time
This text should be preselected, so if the user start typing, he gets the expected result (remove the previous text)

Also a timer should be associated with it, so it only remembers the text if it was entered less than x minutes ago

With kde 4.4 i can easily navigate through recent commands with up\down arrows. So this is no longer an issue for me. Having recent comands shown right after i press alt-f2, with no input to krunner, will break it's neat slim look, that it have right now.
