I'm looking for a way to easily switch the focus while being in Dolphin's split view. Right now, I always have to click into the other half of the window to change the focus. So, something like ctrl+shift+tab or so, that would be awesome... Hope there is not yet such a feature. :)

This feature has been requested in:

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=171743

So, what does that mean for this feature request? It's useless because there is already a bug report? Or it still makes sense to rise attention for this topic?

I suggest to add votes on the bug report and, why not, even a comment telling that at least 19 people have voted this :-)

The whole point of the brainstorm forum is that popular ideas are supposed to be pushed to bugs.kde.org. That is their ultimate destination, and is the way that we actually communicate the ideas to developers. Few developers look at the brainstorm forum, or the KDE forum at all.

So keeping the ideas open here is a waste since it is unlikely developers will see them and makes things more difficult for us since we have no way of keeping track of which ideas have been submitted already and which haven't.

There is actually already a short description of this, see "Take a tour" in Help.
