When using Ark, after selecting multiple files and dragging, only the file under the cursor is drug out to extract. Actions should be similar to Dolphin, as it makes it act similar and expected.

Has Ark never been able to drap and drop multiple files?
This is really an essential feature for me.

For extracting all the files you cant just select them all and drag them to your destination folder, you need to go via the toolbar and select Extract or drag each file separately.
In my eyes, Ark should be scrapped and all its functionalities be included in Dolphin via kio slaves (it can handle zip and tar files just fine).
I think there should no longer be a true distinction between a real folder and an archive. They should both be presented as folders.

BajK: what if I want to set parameters on my archives, like type, compression level, and maybe even security?
