Recently I'd got to print about 20 graphic files. I was surprised that there is no such option in dolphin. I even tried to print those files from gwenview but it printed only one, selected file. I think there should be a way to print many files from dolphin (or gwenview) like it is MS Vista explorer (sic!). There should be also an option to print all files into a one pdf file (or typically using printer).
I've even started a topic on kde forum. Here's a link: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=12699&p=176251 I think in dolphin should be possibility to mark group of files and print them exactly from context menu.

Most definitely, I think to print a group of images on a single piece of paper you have to use digikam I think - it's a bit of an overkill.

Gwenview has "Print Images" and "Print Assistant" under Plugins -> Images. One of those two, or both, lets you print more than one image on a page. I do it all the time myself.
I posted a bug report years ago asking for the normal print dialog to print all selected images, but nothing has happened on it.

Using kipi-plugins is so unintuitive that I couldn't find this way for almost two years. I've found it easier to use console program convert to make a one pdf file containing all images and then print them. Sometimes I use gqview because it can print all selected files.

Can somebody tell me why the status of this idea is submitted but not validated? The problem is still present and in my opinion kipi-plugins aren't the real solution.

Submitted means that the idea has been submitted to the _developers_ (ie, not just the brainstorm section). It is now visible via the KDE bugtracker. TheBlackCat links to the bugreport in his comment.
