Is it normal that KOffice applications not have a Help button? I don't see one in KWord, KSpread, or Krita.

When you say "Menu Help", I believe that you are referring to the GUI element that does not exist.

Can you please provide a screenshot of a KOffice application?

Each KOffice application has the default KDE "Help" menu with a menuitem "... Handbook F1"

There is a bug that under certain conditions the help menu can disappear.

Since bcooksley asked, here's the screen capture. But I am clear from slangkamp that this is a bug. While we're at it, can I assume that the inability to remove the immense KWord docker is also a bug? If I right click on "KWord" at the top of the docker, a menu appears that shows the docker selected, but the choice is grayed out so I can't deselect it.

I don't see a way to attach an image so I did not post the screen capture.

Screen captures should be posted to sites such as ImageBin, and a link posted here.

In any case, try testing to see if it works under a new user.
