Hi 8) , I'm pretty new in LINUX. Trying to switch my workload from the Windows XP environment to Linux openSUSE I'm actually working on a new database in LibreOffice. I like the way addresses are stored in the KDE Contact Container. Can I use (select, refer to or whatever) those addresses from within my LibreOffice database so that I do not have to enter and keep current all the names and addresses twice? In other words is there some kind of KDE-database or KDE-table I can relate on?

I don't think so, at the moment. However, this is the sort of issue that Akonadi addresses. The idea is that other applications can be made Akonadi-aware and all information can be shared between all Akonadi-aware applications. You're just a bit ahead of where we've got to :-)
