I'm developing an application based on Qt. I want to enable rtf support and stumbled upon the excellent rtf import/export mechanism of KWord. The filter is well written and I understand most of the code. I also looked around the developer wiki and found some information about how to load ODF's in KOffice/KWord, but I wanted to double check if what I plan on doing is really possible. Can I use the rtf filter to import a rtf file (I think the result of that process should be a file in ODF format) and then display it in a QTextDocument? So to say by using QDom and sorts, or will I have dependencies on kde libs? Can someone share his ideas... perhaps I'm missing some obvious points/failures?
