This problem occurs on all koffice apps.

The font list takes a long time to appear (approx. 7 seconds)and scrolling through the list of fonts is very slow. When trying to access a font the CPU % varies between 50 and 100%.

Can you check if other KDE applications have the same problem? Problem doesn't happen here.

Interestingly the problem occurs in kword, kmail, kpresenter, karbon and krita but *not* in kspread.

Apps such as Scribus are fine
