it's good to make this thread sticky.
but techbase is experiencing some problems with lots of connections on the DB.

Since the page is so big it'd probably be a good idea to announce new arrivals to that page as they come in. :P

Those tutorials is a big help especially for us newbies. I am new to this forum and reading some posts to learn and get some great ideas. Thanks for posting again.

On UserBase, all registered users can write pages. There are how-to pages linked from http://userbase.kde.org/Tasks_and_Tools and most people start by experimenting on their user pages - that is all registered users get a page linked from the sidebar. Basically, choose what you want to write about and make a start. Ask questions on your Talk page (linked from an icon on your user page) and someone will jump in to help.
