knetworkmanager startup

knetworkmanager startup

i am trying to autostart knetworkmanager and make it to connect to my existing wireless network after the system boots without having login into kde.

how do i do that ?

That would run KNetworkManager as root ( ie. MAJOR security issue ).
if this machine will never be connecting to another network ( ie. Like a desktop ) then you could disable network manager and go with the old ifup/ifdown system ( which will connect on boot up ) and that solves that problem.

All depends on how security caring / paranoid you are and how portable this system needs to be.

i am not worry about security, since there is no network sharing or sensitive data, so i will try the old fashion way.
