Kmymoney vs skrooge

Sat Feb 17, 2018 3:02 pm
I've read kmymoney is good if you have advanced financing to do

A little bit about me to help decide which:

Single person with basic budgeting: Rent, food, savings, car payments, dog related expenses (food, vet, walkers while at work, daycare, boarding etc) nothing fancy.

No kids now or in the future.

No investments or anything complicated

Maybe stock in the future?.

I see skrooge is actively developed based on changelog where as kmymoney only just now got a KDE Frameworks 5 release.

I'm leaning towards skrooge just for that reason unless kmymoney has anything that definitively sways me.

---
also what features are there that integrate with KDE PIM Suite?

I have switched from Quicken to Skrooge about 2 months now and admit there has been a steep learning curve (for me) but after figuring out the reconcile procedure and having received excellent support from the developers l must say it is a very good program and will be totally isolating myself from Quicken.
